Logitech GT Driving Force

The GT Driving Force is an official Gran Turismo wheel so was originally made for PS3 but works alot better on PC. The GT Driving Force wheel is an excellent wheel for sim racers if you want a good enough priced wheel to play rFactor and RACE 07. all the buttons on the steering wheel are all PS3 buttons but to make all the buttons work on PC, click on the link below to download the driver for this steering wheel...

The pedals feel very plastic and don't feel that much like real pedals, the pedals on my driving force, a part of it broke for heavy use. If you want a steering wheel and pedals that feel real I would direct you to the Logitech G27 (the replacement for the G25) which I will review at a later time but if you want a wheel that does what its supposed to, get a GT Driving Force.

Logitech G27

Welcome everyone to a definite 2011 Steering Wheel of the year contender, the Logitech G27 which is the replacement to the excellent G25. The G27 has more buttons, more pedals and more accurate. The G27 is more chunky than the G25 which I like and more smooth. Unlike any other Logitech steering wheels like the GT Driving Force it feels alot more like a proper car as it has a clutch which is good if you get stuck, there is also more buttons, there are now 6 buttons on the wheel rather than 2 so you have more room to assign buttons. However like everything the G27 has it's drawbacks for example the price because this wheel costs 3 times more expensive than a GT but you could say that this is 3 times better. Another is the pedals start to flicker after heavy use but this can be solved by going through the pedals deadzone settings. Also, for Volvo The Game and Real-Time-Racing the wheel moves to the side a wee bit and you lose force feedbacfk for 2 seconds and then it's all right. Also if you use a simulator that is setup completely different than the one you spend most of your time with it moves to the side and the only solution to this is to restart your computer and then it does it again. The G25 is alot more reliable than the G27 but it is nowhere near better, this wheel gets 8/10.
